We had a very enjoyable meeting with Bob Ewing from The Evergreen Chrysanthemum Association at the last chapter meeting.  There were 34 people in attendance. 

Bob's enthusiasm for growing chrysanthemums was very evident during his presentation.  He explained the process in detail.  His presentation was fun and valuable.  Bob also informed the members of The Evergreen Chrysanthemum Association's annual sale and their mum show October 29th - 31st at Furney's Nursery in Des Moines. 

The cut mums he brought to show the great variety in the flower forms were given to members as door prizes.  Katsuko Brooke had ruffles tickets. There were nine lucky friends who took home a gorgeous flower home.  Many thanks to Bob!
